“5 MB storage” is meaningless without knowing 5 MB of what. Here it is spelled out.
| Limit | Free | Starter | Pro | Scale |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Apps One per product or environment. Users are isolated per app. | 3 | 10 | 25 | Unlimited |
Users per app Registered end users, not monthly actives. Nobody is billed per login. | 1,000 | 10,000 | 50,000 | 250,000 |
Data per user Total size of the JSON records belonging to one end user. | 500 KB | 2 MB | 5 MB | 10 MB |
App-wide storage Records that belong to the app rather than to any one user. | 10 MB | 100 MB | 500 MB | 2 GB |
API requests Every authenticated call. Resets at the start of each billing period. | 25,000/mo | 250,000/mo | 2,000,000/mo | 10,000,000/mo |
Support Best-effort response times, not a contractual commitment. | Community | Priority | Priority | |
Uptime guarantee No plan carries an SLA. See the disclaimer. |
Hitting a limit never deletes anything. The request that would exceed it is rejected with an error your code can handle, and the dashboard warns you before you get there.
Every number above is enforced by the API itself, not estimated — so what you read here is what the server actually does.
Requests that would exceed it are rejected with a clear error code, and the dashboard shows how close you are beforehand. Nothing is deleted, nothing is throttled silently, and you are never billed for overage — you either upgrade or the limit holds.
Total registered users per app. A user who signs up once and never returns still counts. There is no per-login or per-MAU charge.
Yes, in both directions. An upgrade applies as soon as payment confirms, with a fresh request quota. A downgrade applies at the end of the period you have already paid for.
Existing data is never deleted. Writes that would push you further past the limit are rejected until you are back under it, so bring usage down before downgrading.
Paddle, as merchant of record. Card details go to them and never reach our servers. Depending on where you are, they may add sales tax or VAT at checkout.
Yes, under the conditions set out in the refund policy.
No trial — the free plan is the trial. It is not time-limited, so you can build something real on it and upgrade when you outgrow the limits.
